Sandy comes from McDuff, Scotland. Somebody has to…
Grew up in Hong Kong where he was inspired to take up music on hearing Black Sabbath’s ‘Iron Man’ and being shown how to play ‘Smoke on the water’ by his Korean friend Kelvin Chu, who incidentally looked like an Asian version of Prince (20 years ahead of His Purpleness).
Back in the 80’s was in a band called Jeddah who released a metal version of the Beatles ‘Eleanor Rugby’ that was single of the week on Radio Caroline as well as single of the week in NME and Sounds!
Started and ran a charity with Aldie and Easy in Oxford to bring the joys of playing, writing and performing music to everyone.
Incidentally that’s how they met MrC… they taught his 3 children!
He is currently enjoying bringing his musical experience to bear on that strangely overlooked phenomena - music about and for bikers.
He’s always enjoyed writing songs that people will hopefully want to hear, put on a show people will want to see, and design T-shirts people will want to wear.
